Huawei says 3Com rebuff due to “complexities” and costs

Bain Capital Partner's $2.2 billion (1.1 billion pounds) bid to buy 3Com Corp with China's Huawei Technologies failed due to acquisition complexities and rising costs, Huawei said in its first public comments since U.S. national security concerns scuppered the deal on Wednesday.
